Hampton Farmers Market returns each Wednesday
With a sunny sky and temperatures in the 80s, Main Squeeze was a popular place on June 12.
The Tarentum-based food truck, offering a variety of cold concoctions, visited the Hampton Farmers Market that afternoon, and proprietor Shelby Brown provided plenty of service with a smile.
Plenty of other vendors gathered in the Hampton Community Center parking for the second week of the market, held from 3 to 7 p.m. each Wednesday through Oct. 9. The exception is July 3, which is Hampton Community Day.
According to the township website, 2024 market vendors are Mazzotta Winery, Russellton Bee Works, Gabriel’s Gardens, Carlos Aviles Farms, Hugh’s Heirloom Herbs & Sew Cute (featuring the plants and products of Hugh Gray), Pittsburgh Artisanal Soap Co., Bloomview Farm, Modish Makes, Biscuit Bites, the GreensGrowers, Pittsburgh Pastures, Pita Pieces, Sips Mobile Bar, Travelin’ Tom’s Coffee Truck, Shivers Shaved Ice and Renewal by Andersen.
The food truck schedule calls for Benvenuti’s Pizza Factory on June 19, Cousins Maine Lobster on June 26 and, following the Community Day hiatus, Old School Italian Sandwich Shop on July 10.
