Allegheny County Police said a homicide suspect in connection to a Dec. 23, 2020 fatal shooting in Mt. Oliver was arrested Wednesday in Georgia.

Detectives determined David Barlow, 28, was responsible for the shooting, through evidence collected at the scene and additional evidence gathered in recent months, police said.

At approximately 11:42 p.m. that day, Mt. Oliver police were dispatched to the 200 block of Anthony Street for a reported home invasion and shooting.

Damon Lincoln, 24, was discovered suffering from a gunshot wound to the back and transported to an area hospital, where he was pronounced deceased, police said.

Barlow was taken into custody Wednesday morning “without incident,” Allegheny County police said.

Multiple charges Barlow’s facing include: criminal homicide, robbery, burglary and recklessly endangering another person.
