Human remains found in Jefferson Hills

Police are investigating human remains that were found Saturday behind a Dollar General store along Route 51 in Jefferson Hills, according to Tribune-Review news partner WTAE-TV.

Jefferson Hills police and Allegheny County police responded to the report of the human remains in a park area behind the store, located near the intersection of Route 51 and Route 43.

Jefferson Hills police are continuing to conduct the investigation, according to Allegheny County spokesman Victor Joseph.

Additional details were not available Sunday morning from Jefferson Hills police.
