High school presents ‘Tuck Everlasting’
Following a comedic production last year, Hampton High School’s spring musical, “Tuck Everlasting,” takes a different direction with a timeless and emotional story showcasing the versatility of the performers.
Shows are at 7:30 p.m. April 19 and 20 in the high school auditorium, 2929 McCully Road. Tickets are $12 and available at www.hamptoncats.org/tickets.
“Tuck Everlasting” is based on the novel of the same name by Natalie Babbitt. It tells the story of members of a family who drink water from a magical spring and become immortal.
Senior Andrew Kaehly takes on the role of Jesse Tuck, while freshman Lordyn Schomaeker portrays Winnie Foster. Isaac Thatcher plays Miles Tuck, Jesse’s brother, and Kaitlin Howe and Nathan Connelly portray the parents, Mae and Angus Tuck.
Nearly 100 students are involved in this year’s production between the cast, crew and orchestra.
