Hampton Community Center

Hampton hosts Pints in Park

Pints in the Park will take place in the Hampton Community Center parking lot on July 14, Aug. 11 and Sept. 29. The event is from 5 to 9 p.m. and will host various beverage vendors, food trucks and live music.

The food trucks for July 14 will be Hummus Pgh, Mr. Bulgogi and Kona Ice. Beverage vendors will be Strange Roots, Mazzotta Winery and Personal Day Hard Seltzer. Music is by The Felt Like.

Ghost hunters visit museum

The Depreciation Lands Museum in Hampton will host an evening with the Steel City Ghost Hunters starting at 7 o’clock on July 22.

The group has conducted many investigations at the site over the years, and guests can learn about the discoveries.

Registration is required. Admission is $15 for members and $20 for nonmembers.

Church hosts car show

Hampton Presbyterian Church will host a car show from 4 to 8 p.m. July 22

The family-friendly event features a concession stand and music by DJ Denny Dutko. All makes and models of vehicles are welcome. The event is free.

Vacation Bible school

Hampton Presbyterian Church, 2942 E. Hardies Road, will host vacation Bible school from 9 a.m. to noon the week of July 17-21.

The school is for children ages 4 through those who have completed fifth grade. For more information or to register, visit hamptonpresbyterian.net.

To register, click the menu in upper right, then click “HPC Kids” from the dropdown, then scroll down to the bluish “Stellar” icon for details and links to the online registration and volunteer forms. Online payment of $45 can be made at the same time, covering a T-shirt, snacks, materials and music.

Christmas in July

Hampton’s Christmas in July will take place at the Outdoor Pool Complex from 3 to 6 p.m. July 26. Santa will be at the pool from 4 to 6.

The pool complex will have festive decorations throughout the facility for all to enjoy, and children can participate in a free snowball toss.

The farmers market and food trucks will be available in the Community Center parking lot from 3 to 7.

Sts. Martha and Mary flea market

A flea market will take place at Sts. Martha and Mary Parish at St. Richard Church Social Hall, 3841 Dickey Road, Gibsonia, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. July 14 and 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. July 15, with a half-price sale the last two hours of the second day.

The sale will continue after masses on July 16 until noon. It features kitchen and dining items, jewelry, purses, books, toys, holiday and home décor, and more.
