Ladies Day Out
St. Barnabas Charities hosts its annual Ladies Day Out on Oct. 5 at Trees Manor at St. Barnabas, 660 Warrendale Road, Pine.
The event, scheduled from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., features food, cocktails, raffles and shopping with exclusive vendors. Tickets include chances to win prizes valued at nearly $5,000 drawn every 30 minutes including cash, a Gucci handbag, jewelry and more. You need not be present to win.
Tickets are $80 or $100 per person and are available at StBarnabasCharities.com or by calling 724-625-3770. Volunteer opportunities also are available.
Proceeds benefit the St. Barnabas Free Care Fund, which provides more than $6 million to residents and patients who cannot afford their care. To donate to the Free Care Fund, text the word “GIVE” to 41444.
Richland leaf pickup
Richland Township announces leaf pickup dates for the fall.
If your Vogel collection day is Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday, leaf collections will be Oct. 16, Nov. 6 and Dec. 4. If your Vogel collection day is Thursday or Friday, collections will be Oct. 18, Nov. 8 and Dec. 6.
The service is provided to reduce the impact of leaves on the municipal stormwater system, streams and wetlands.
All bags must be out prior to 6 a.m. the day of pickup. All leaves, garden residue and cuttings must be in biodegradable paper bags, limited to 40 pounds.
Tree trimmings, no larger than 3 inches in diameter and smaller than 48 inches in length, must be bound into manageable bundles.
Richland ’74 reunion
The 50th-anniversary reunion of the Richland High School Class of 1974 is scheduled for Oct. 5 in Cranberry.

Democrats pasta dinner
Join the Richland Township Democrats for a pasta dinner at 6:30 p.m. Oct. 23 at The Clubhouse, 5301 Ranalli Drive.
Meet 2024 Democrat candidates while enjoying food and conversation. Dinner includes an all-you-can-eat pasta dinner with salad and soup.

Church car cruise
Hampton Presbyterian Church, 2942 E. Hardies Road, is hosting a car cruise from noon to 3 p.m. Sept. 28.
Featured will be a touch-a-truck event, with various emergency vehicles on display, along with a concession stand and music by DJ Denny Dutko. All makes and models of vehicles are welcome.
