Sen. Robinson opens Bethel Park office

State Senator Devlin Robinson has opened an office at 700 N. Highland Road, Suite 307 in Bethel Park. He will hold a grand opening celebration 10 a.m.-noon May 20 to provide an opportunity for residents of the 37th Senate District to learn about ways his office can help with state-related issues.

“I am hosting grand opening events to provide people in the community the chance to talk to me and my district office staff, learn about the variety of services that we can provide, and share any legislative concerns or suggestions,” Robinson said. “We are excited to meet the people we represent so that we can all work together. I encourage residents to stop by, say hello and learn what services we offer.”

Due to the pandemic, the district offices have been serving constituents via appointment. To schedule an appointment for the Bethel Park office, constituents are asked to call 412-785-3070.

The actual run is the traditional course down and back on Brownsville Road and will be limited to 500 participants. There will be no race day activities before or after the race. Prizes for placement will be mailed.

The various jobs for volunteers on race day will be setting up and manning the water/drink table(s) and guiding the runners to their assigned time corral.

Also, several volunteers will need to be stationed along Brownsville Road to ensure that participants remain on the course.

Masks will be required the entire time while volunteering, approximately three hours. Volunteers will receive a free T-shirt and are eligible for community service credit.
