Ivanka Trump plans to visit Pittsburgh on Wednesday to meet with supporters of her father, President Donald Trump.
The president’s daughter will be participating in a moderated question-and-answer session with supporters, campaign officials told the Tribune-Review. The precise location of the event — scheduled six days before Election Day — and further details have not yet been released.
Ivanka Trump last hosted a campaign event in Pennsylvania in September, when she had hosted a “fireside chat” with supporters in Honey Brook, Chester County.
She’s been busy traveling on the campaign trail this month, following weeks of virtual fundraisers while in voluntary quarantine after President Trump and others in the White House tested positive for covid-19.
“One week, five states! Thank you Georgia, Arizona, Nevada, Wisconsin and Ohio! The enthusiasm for @realdonaldtrump is tremendous!” Ivanka Trump posted to her Instagram account on Oct. 17.
Trump’s family members and surrogates have visited Western Pennsylvania several times in recent weeks.
Vice President Mike Pence led a rally outside Allegheny County Airport on Friday, after making appearances in Westmoreland and Beaver counties last month.
Also last week, Eric Trump made a surprise stop to Oakmont Bakery, which has been selling Trump- and Biden-themed cookies. Earlier this month, Lara Trump energized volunteers in McCandless and eight other places in the region via a “Women for Trump” bus tour.
