Man arrested, stolen gun retrieved from Pitcairn shooting

One man was arrested following a shooting in Pitcairn that struck two vehicles Saturday afternoon, Allegheny County police said.

Police were dispatched to the 100 block of Brinton Avenue for reports of two groups shooting at each other just before 2:50 p.m. No injuries were reported.

Police found a stolen gun at the scene and arrested one man, Jameel Anger, 20, of Pitcairn. He is charged with receiving stolen property and carrying a firearm without a license.

County detectives are investigating. Information on the shooting can be directed to the county police tip line, 1-833-ALL-TIPS. Callers can remain anonymous.
