Man critically injured, 2nd man in custody after Wilkinsburg stabbing

One man was critically injured and a second man taken into police custody Tuesday morning after a stabbing in Wilkinsburg, Allegheny County Police said.

Police responded to the 1300 block of Woodlawn Avenue at 8:31 a.m. and found an adult man, who they did not name, suffering from a stab wound to the neck, county police said. He was taken to an area hospital in critical condition.

County police said “an adult male suspect,” who they also did not name, was taken into custody at the scene. No arrests were announced.

Homicide detectives from the county police force are investigating.
