A man was hospitalized in stable condition after being grazed by a bullet late Thursday in Pittsburgh’s Marshall Shadeland neighborhood.

Public Safety spokeswoman Cara Cruz said officers responded to a call for shots fired along the 1400 block of Woods Run Avenue shortly before 11:45 p.m. Thursday.

Officers canvassed the area and originally found no victims. A second call to 911 alerted officers to a man shot outside Young Brothers bar.

Cruz said the man refused medical treatment, but was later convinced by Pittsburgh EMS to go to a hospital after they saw a wound to his leg.

The incident remains under investigation. No information about possible suspects was available.

Anyone within information about the shooting should contact Pittsburgh police at 412-323-7800.
