A man was hospitalized in critical condition after being shot in Pittsburgh’s Larimer neighborhood Monday.

Public Safety spokeswoman Emily Bourne said police were dispatched shortly after 5:15 p.m. to the intersection of Paulson Avenue and Dodge Way for a three-round ShotSpotter alert.

Police found a man with gunshot wounds to his head, shoulder and neck.

He was taken to an area hospital for treatment. The investigation is on going.

Bourne said police are reviewing video evidence from nearby cameras and recovered three shell casings.

Anyone with information about the shooting should contact Pittsburgh police at 412-323-7800.
