McKeesport man killed in shooting at Clairton picnic

A McKeesport man was fatally shot Sunday night at a picnic in Clairton, according to authorities.

The Allegheny County Medical Examiner’s Office identified the man as 23-year-old Brendan Michael Parsons and listed the death as a homicide caused by multiple wounds to his neck and trunk.

He was found dead by first responders who were dispatched about 9:30 p.m. to the scene in the 300 block of Division Avenue.

Allegheny County police said the shooting happened during an argument, and a man, who was not named by authorities, has been detained.
