Assault, drugs DUI among charges handled April 12 and April 19, 2021 by Monroeville Judge Jeffrey Herbst

Monroeville District Judge Jeffrey L. Herbst handled these cases April 12 and 19. Defendants will have court dates set in the Allegheny County Court of Common Pleas.

Held for court

• Maurice Lincoln-Vason, 25, of Plum on charges of making a false identification to a law enforcement officer and driving without a license. Charges were filed Jan. 19.

• Jeffrey Wayne Brooks, 43, of New Kensington on retail theft. The charge was filed Feb. 12.

• Melissa Amber Daffron, 42, of Monroeville on two DUIs. Charges were filed July 27.

• Chace Cole, 29, of Monroeville on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of drugs, aggravated assault, recklessly endangering another person, fleeing or attempting to elude a police officer, disorderly conduct, defiant trespassing, trespassing by a motor vehicle and reckless driving. Charges were filed Feb. 27.

Waived for court

• Richard Ray, 66, of Pitcairn on a DUI. The charge was filed by Pitcairn police on Sept. 13. He also faces charges on a seperate case for failure to keep right and two DUIs. Those charges were filed July 28.

• Richard James Ray, 66, of Pitcairn on charges of driving without a license, failing to perform duties at a stop sign and a DUI. Charges were filed by Pitcairn police on Aug. 10.

• Matthew Earl Tubbs, 43, of Oroville, Calif., on charges of intent to promote the carrying on of unlawful activity, possession of drugs, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving an unregistered vehicle, disregarding a traffic lane, careless driving and two counts of prohibited possession of a firearm. Charges were filed Dec. 7.

• Jordan Antwan Kralik, 29, of Johnstown on charges of intent to promote the carrying on of unlawful activity, carrying a firearm without a license, possession of drugs, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. Charges were filed Dec. 7.

• Clinton Scott, 49, of Mars on charges of reckless driving and two DUIs. Charges were filed Oct. 15.

• Larry Garland, 28, of Cresson on charges of prohibited possession of a firearm, carrying a firearm without a license, possession of drugs, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. Charges were filed March 7.

• Ryan Black, 48, of McKeesport on two counts of possession of drugs. Charges were filed Jan. 25.
