Thanks to Foam Party Pittsburgh, students at Divine Mercy Academy had a sudsy start to summer vacation.
“We bring the foam and you bring the fun!” boasts the company, which uses a biodegradable, nontoxic, nonstaining hypoallergenic solution to create bubble-ific entertainment.
And youngsters — adults, too — certainly seemed to enjoy themselves as the Foam Party truck soaked the outdoor area next to the school’s gymnasium on June 8, the end of the academic year for students.
Principal Nikole Laubham was among those who joined in the festivities, and she even subjected herself to a dunk tank of sorts. She sat in a chair with a water balloon suspended above her, as youngsters threw a ball at a target in hopes of sending the liquid-filled orb on top of her head.
Other last-day-of-school activities included foursquare and whiffle ball games outside, and arts and crafts inside, with face painting as an option and plenty to eat and drink.
The school is accepting registration for its preschool and K-8 programs. For more information, visit dmapgh.org.
