Drug, theft cases among recent Monroeville police activity

Monroeville police filed the following charges Oct. 17-29 in District Judge Jeffrey L. Herbst’s office:

• Justina Herrle, 28, of Pittsburgh with defiant trespassing, possession of controlled substances, possession of drug paraphernalia, retail theft, disorderly conduct, driving with a suspended license and trespass by motor vehicle. Charges were filed Oct. 29 in connection with an incident along the 3600 block of William Penn Highway.

• John Creighton, 51, of Monroeville with fleeing or attempting to elude police, resisting arrest, accident involving damage to attended vehicle or property, driving under the influence, failure to drive on right side of roadway, driving upon sidewalks, reckless driving and two counts of recklessly endangering another person. Charges were filed Oct. 29 in connection with an incident at Route 48 and Northern Pike.

• Brandon Steele, 27, of Monroeville with driving with a suspended license and failure to obey traffic control devices. Charges were filed Oct. 24 in connection with an incident at Garden City and Evergreen drives.

• Abigail Bowser, 18, of Verona with retail theft and corruption of minors. Charges were filed Oct. 24 in connection with an incident along the 3600 block of William Penn Highway.

• Jvonn Bivins, 36, of Pittsburgh with retail theft. Charges were filed Oct. 24 in connection with an incident along the 4000 block of William Penn Highway.

• Jesse DiPietro, 30, of Irwin with driving under the influence, tampering with physical evidence, possession of controlled substances and possession of drug paraphernalia. Charges were filed Oct. 24 in connection with an incident along the 4800 block of William Penn Highway.

• Simone Caldwell, 44, of Pittsburgh with hindering apprehension or prosecution, aiding in consummation of a crime, disorderly conduct and permitting violation of vehicle codes. Charges were filed Oct. 24 in connection with an incident at Route 22 and Entry Drive.

• Tyrone Williams, 32, of Monroeville with strangulation, simple assault and harassment. Charges were filed Oct. 18 in connection with an incident along the 100 block of Cambridge Square.

• Alicia Jones, 33, of Belle Vernon with retail theft and possession of drug paraphernalia. Charges were filed Oct. 18 in connection with an incident along the 3600 block of William Penn Highway.

• Wendell Dixon, 47, of Pittsburgh with retail theft. Charges were filed Oct. 17 in connection with an incident along the 3600 block of William Penn Highway.
