DUI, drug cases among those recently handled by Judge Herbst in Monroeville - Oct. 30, 2019
Monroeville District Court Judge Jeffrey Herbst handled these cases recently. Defendants will have court dates set in the Allegheny County Court of Common Pleas. Charges were filed by Monroeville police unless otherwise noted.
Held for court
• Terrel Campbell, 19, of Pitcairn on charges of disorderly conduct, simple assault and recklessly endangering another person. Pitcairn police filed the charges Oct. 16.
• Mark Melodia, 34, of Pittsburgh on charges of identity theft, two counts of theft by unlawful taking and two counts of access device used to obtain property/service. Allegheny County District Attorney Stephen Zappala’s Office filed the charges Sept. 13.
Waived preliminary hearings
• Kayla Wilkes, 29, of Turtle Creek on charges of accident involving damage to attended vehicle/property, driving with a suspended license and accident involving damage to unattended vehicle/property. Charges were filed July 6.
• Allan Williams, 35, of Monroeville on charges of habitual offenders, driving with a suspended license and failure to perform duties at stop sign. Pitcairn police filed the charges June 6.
• Nya Idlett, 21, of Pitcairn on charges of simple assault, strangulation and harassment. Pitcairn police filed the charges July 15.
• Erin Dragone, 44, of McKeesport on two counts of retail theft. Charges were filed Aug. 18.
• Jennifer Murawski, 38, of Monroeville on charges of theft by unlawful taking and misapplication of entrusted property of government or financial institutions. Allegheny County District Attorney Stephen Zappala’s Office filed the charges Aug. 26.
• Bridget Backfisch, 54, of Monroeville on charges of driving under the influence and failure to keep right. Charges were filed Aug. 29.
