The Monroeville Public Library will display and sell art in one of its gallery spaces throughout June.

The exhibit will he held in the library’s Elaine Biondi Gallery Space from May 31 to July 2 during regular library hours. It will be closed on Sundays.

An opening ceremony will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. June 1.

Some of the works, by East Suburban Artists League (ESAL) members, will be for sale.

There will be a variety of artwork in styles including photography, paint and mixed media. A portion from sales will benefit Friends of the Monroeville Public Library, a volunteer organization that raises funds and awareness for the library.

ESAL, formed in 1965, is a nonprofit organization with members from communities in Allegheny and Westmoreland counties. The group sponsors exhibits in the region throughout the year, including monthly shows at the Murrysville Community Library, the Murrysville-based Redstone Highlands Retirement Community and other exhibits at CCAC Boyce and Penn State New Kensington.
