Former Pitcairn council member Cammeo Farally topped all other candidates in Tuesday’s election in the race for four seats.

Farally, a Democrat, took 24% of 1,843 votes cast. Incumbent Democrats Thomas Dick (22%) and William Kornrumph (21%) followed, along with Democrat George Burkhardt, who made his way onto the ballot via write-in votes and came away with just under 19% of the vote.

Farally, 41, the wife of borough police Chief Scott Farally, is seeking to return to the council after stepping down to become a stay-at-home mother when the couple’s first child was born.

Burkhardt, 68, is retired after a career at the Kenny Ross auto dealership.

Republican Domenic Roberta finished with just under 14% of votes.

Incumbent Margaret Stevick ran unopposed for mayor.
