Gateway School District announced Friday its junior and senior prom, originally scheduled for May 8, has been canceled.
Instead, the class of 2020 will have a “Celebration” on June 13. No details about the event were posted to the district’s website.
The high school’s graduation ceremony date remains set for May 27 at Antimarino Stadium. But if it is needed, the postponement would be held June 25. The senior awards banquet also has been canceled. Those acknowledgements will be made during the graduation ceremony.
The school district’s Kennywood school picnic, originally scheduled for May 2, has been rescheduled for Aug. 22.
