Monroeville police file charges Sept. 14-17 for firearms, drugs, DUIs and other offenses
Monroeville police filed the following charges in District Judge Jeffrey L. Herbst’s office. Charges were filed Sept. 14-17 by Monroeville police unless otherwise noted:
• Mark Lamar Beavers, 21, of Pittsburgh’s Knoxville neighborhood with carrying a firearm without a license, possession of a firearm with an altered manufacturer’s number, escape, carrying a loaded weapon, resisting arrest, disorderly conduct, possession of an instrument of crime and two counts of possession and use of a firearm. Charges were filed Sept. 14 in connection with an incident along the 1100 block of Fox Hill Drive.
• Cody Joe Flora, 32, of Ebensburg, Pa., with careless driving, possession of heroin, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving the wrong way on a one-way road and two DUIs. Charges were filed Sept. 16 in connection with an incident at the intersection of William Penn Highway and Plaza Drive.
• Teresa Maria Kauric, 30, of Monroeville with possession of heroin and possession of drug paraphernalia. Charges were filed Sept. 17 in connection with an incident along the 2700 block of Monroeville Boulevard.
• Richard Ray, 65, of Pitcairn with a DUI. The charge was filed by Pitcairn police on Sept. 17 in connection with an incident at the intersection of Broadway Boulevard and Wall Avenue.
