The Monroeville Readers Theatre Group provided a great deal of entertainment on March 3 for the memory care residents of Monroeville Juniper Village, along with several songs for sing-along time.

“The residents found great joy in the two plays presented while laughing and singing as they interacted with the Readers Theatre Group” memory care director Minna Barton said.

John Shea, Joan Marz and Beverly Siciliano of the theatre group found the residents happy to see the members’ familiar faces, as they also had visited a few weeks beforehand.

In celebration of St. Patrick’s Day, Siciliano provided green cookies and a few poems describing the Blarney Stone and the leprechaun’s bag of gold.

The Readers Theatre group meets from 7 to 9 p.m. the first Monday of each month at the Monroeville Public Library. Members are willing to work with anyone who has a desire to learn.

For more information, call Beverly Siciliano at 412-856-8201 or email bwilson6121@gmail.com.
