Monroeville officials announced Monday a section of Abers Creek Road will be closed for the day.
An alert notified residents the road between Northern Pike and Cavitt Road will be closed and to “avoid the area.”
An additional alert was sent Dec. 20 indicating the same section would be closed to all traffic except emergency vehicles from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Monroeville Public Works was not immediately available to comment.
