Theft, firearms cases recently handled by Judge Herbst in Monroeville

Monroeville District Court Judge Jeffrey Herbst handled these cases recently. Defendants will have court dates set in the Allegheny County Court of Common Pleas. Charges were filed by Monroeville police unless otherwise noted.

Held for court

• Joseph Donachy, 38, of Arnold on charges of receiving stolen property. Charges were filed Aug. 18.

• Jaquan Thomas, 19, of Monroeville on charges criminal conspiracy, two counts of robbery, two counts of receiving stolen property, two counts of theft by unlawful taking and two counts of simple assault. Charges were filed Sept. 7.

• Gerald Thompson, 49, of Pitcairn on charges of aggravated assault, simple assault, recklessly endangering another person, providing false identification to law enforcement, disorderly conduct and robbery. Pitcairn police filed the charges Oct. 1.

• Raymonn Hairston, 29, of Braddock on charges of propel missile into occupied vehicles, simple assault, recklessly endangering another person, firearms not to be carried without a license, attempted homicide and two counts of aggravated assault. Allegheny County police filed the charges Oct. 9.

• Michelle Cafrelli, 39, of Pittsburgh on charges of theft by deception and theft by unlawful taking. Charges were filed June 19.

Waived preliminary hearings

• Michael Cudd, 32, of Somerville, Texas on charges of driving under the influence, reckless driving and two counts of improper tires. Charges were filed Oct. 6.

• Steven Harris, 60, of Pitcairn on charges of driving under the influence. Charges were filed April 29.

• Richard Ealing, 39, of Monroeville with charges of institutional vandalism and disorderly conduct. Charges were filed July 14.

• Jabria Caldwell, 22, of Monroeville on charges of retail theft and resisting arrest. Charge were filed Aug. 8.

• Patrick Palmer, 33, of Murrysville on charges of disorderly conduct, possession of controlled substances and providing false identification to law enforcement. Charges were filed Sept. 29.
