1 injured in Carnegie fire

One person was injured in a house fire in Carnegie Sunday night.

Crews were called to a blaze in the 500 block of Lincoln Avenue before 5:30 p.m., TribLive news partner WTAE reported.

Officials said one person was taken to the hospital.

Fire fighters contained the flames by around 6 p.m. Officials have not provided details on what caused the fire.


Officials identify man killed in McKees Rocks shooting

The Allegheny County Medical Examiner identified a man killed in a shooting in McKees Rocks Friday as Floyd Wilson, 51, of McKees Rocks.

Wilson was taken to the hospital, but later died of his injuries, TribLive news partner WTAE reported.

County police said he was shot at Second and Broadway streets around 9:20 p.m. Friday.

Allegheny County detectives are investigating. Anyone with information concerning the incident is asked to call the County Police Tip Line at 1-822-ALL-TIPS. Callers can remain anonymous.
