Break leaves part of Reserve Township without water
Water service will be cut off for the southern portion of Reserve Township Thursday morning as crews make emergency repairs.
Township officials said water service will be turned off around 9 a.m. as crews assess and repair a water break that was identified on Mount Troy Road.
“The Township’s water system is old, and many years of inadequate maintenance have compounded to create the current issues with the system,” Township Manager Jan Kowalski wrote in a notice posted to social media. “We wish to provide a higher level of service to our residents, which is why it is sometimes necessary to interrupt service to make repairs and perform preventative maintenance to prevent more serious future issues.”
