A fire broke out Tuesday after active power lines fell on a Greenfield home.

Pittsburgh Bureau of Fire crews were dispatched to the home, located on the 4300 block of Kish Way, around 1:30 p.m. Fire crews located the downed power lines and a fire behind the house’s kitchen stove, which was quickly extinguished, according to Pittsburgh Public Safety.

One firefighter sustained minor injuries after receiving an electric shock while opening the kitchen window to ventilate smoke out of the structure. A medic evaluated the firefighter at the scene. No further medical treatment was required, Pittsburgh Public Safety said.
