1 injured in Larimer house fire
One person was injured and transported to a hospital following a house fire early Tuesday morning in Pittsburgh’s Larimer neighborhood.
Emergency crews responded to the fire on the 600 block of Lenora Street shortly after 4:40 a.m. Tuesday, according to TribLive news partner WTAE.
The condition of the person who was taken to the hospital is unknown, according to WTAE.
East Pittsburgh man sentenced for violent threats to North Carolinians
An East Pittsburgh man was sentenced Monday in federal court to 16 months in prison for threatening to injure people in North Carolina.
Robert Notter, 35, made threats to several people, businesses and organizations in North Carolina’s 24-county Middle District, according to U.S. Attorney Eric Olshan. Notter sent text messages and left voicemails pretending to be someone else and threatening to kill the recipients, Olshan said.
The U.S. Department of Homeland Security investigated the threats.
Pittsburgh woman last seen in Oakland reported missing
A 43-year-old Pittsburgh woman has gone missing, Pittsburgh police said.
Archana Pulls — described as 5-foot-3 tall with long black hair and brown eyes — was reported missing Monday. She was last seen in Pittsburgh’s Oakland neighborhood wearing a royal blue outfit and a scarf.
Pittsburgh’s special victims unit is leading the search. Anyone with information can call 412-323-7141 or 911.
Person rescued from Beltzhoover house fire
One person was rescued from a fire inside a Taft Avenue residence Monday night in Pittsburgh’s Beltzhoover neighborhood.
The blaze was reported around 11:50 p.m., according to TribLive news partner WTAE.
No injuries or cause of the fire were reported, WTAE said.
