A motorcyclist has died following a multi-vehicle crash Wednesday evening just outside Mercy Hospital in Pittsburgh’s Bluff neighborhood.
An EMS team performed CPR on Donte J. Hairston, 33, of Clairton before he was taken to the hospital following the crash.
Pittsburgh police said a vehicle collided with Hairston’s motorcycle at the intersection of Boulevard of the Allies and Marion Street. A second vehicle was also struck as a result of the initial crash, police said.
First responders were alerted to the crash just after 9:30 p.m.
Police said the driver of the first vehicle refused medical attention, and no one in the second vehicle was hurt.
Pittsburgh police are investigating.
