AAUW forum set for Murrysville, Franklin Regional primary contenders
The Murrysville Area American Association of University Women will host a May 10 candidates’ night for local residents running for municipal and school board seats.
The forum will be at 7 p.m., May 10 at the Murrysville municipal building at 4100 Sardis Road. It will be televised on Comcast local access Channel 19.
Candidates for Murrysville council, Murrysville mayor and Franklin Regional school director have been invited.
According to the AAUW, confirmed candidates as of May 3 are:
• School board: John Koury, Dennis Pavlik, Ed Mittereder, Tabitha Riggio, Scott Weinman, Richard Arnold, Michelle Milan-McFall and Debra Wohlin, who is the only candidate running for a separate, 2-year term.
• Murrysville council: Mac McKenna
