Delmont library to host French program
The Delmont Public Library will host a “Love My Library” program on Feb. 13. Or, as the French would say — since the program is focused on all things France — “Adore Mon Bibliotheque.”
The interactive program will explore the love of books, friendship and all things French, beginning at 10:30 a.m. And with Valentine’s Day around the corner, the library — located at 75 School St. — will also have a selection of handmade gifts available.
The program is free, and there are 30 openings. To reserve a spot, call the library at 724-468-5329.
Winning Cash 5 ticket sold in Murrysville
A winning Cash 5 ticket worth more than $373,000 was sold at the Giant Eagle store in Murrysville, lottery officials said.
The jackpot winning ticket matched all five balls drawn, 2-11-12-30-32, on Jan. 16.
The store at 4810 Old William Penn Highway earns a $500 bonus for selling the winning ticket.
An employee who answered the telephone at the store said she was uncertain whether the winner had claimed the lottery prize.
Anyone holding a jackpot-winning Cash 5 ticket should contact the nearest lottery office for further instructions or call 1-800-692-7481.
