Franklin Regional multimedia student win 5 awards at Robert Morris Digital Media Arts Consortium

Franklin Regional Senior High School students in broadcasting and journalism classes came home with five awards from the Digital Media Arts Consortium Student Video Festival held recently at Robert Morris University.

Students who create the FRHSTV morning news show won “Best in Category” for the second year in a row in the school announcements division.

In addition:

• Carson Burgh won “Best in Category” in the news feature photo journalism division, as well as an “Award of Excellence” in the feature story package division.

• Tyler Quinn, Anthony Mitchell and Emerson Bush won an “Award of Excellence” in the podcast division for their “Fun Friday Podcast.”

• Mary Taddonio won the Founders’ Award, presented to a senior staff member.
