Churches in Murrysville, Export and Delmont will come together to host a National Day of Prayer event at 7 p.m., May 2 at the VFD building in Export.

The Girl Scouts will present the flag and lead the Pledge of Allegiance, and pastors and laypersons from the community will offer prayers for the nation. The theme for 2019 is “Love one another, just as I have loved you.”

The VFD building, formerly the Export American Legion, is at 5778 Kennedy Avenue.
