Pickin’ in the park: Murrysville kicks off ‘Tuesdays at Townsend’ concert series

Pittsburgh-area bluegrass group Moose Lodge Revival kicked off the 2024 “Tuesdays at Townsend” live music series hosted by the Murrysville Recreation Department last week at Townsend Park.

The free concert series, sponsored by 1st Summit Bank, Westmoreland County Arts and YTS Wealth Management, will continue with the following bands, food trucks and breweries on hand. Concerts are at 6:30 p.m. at the park, 130 Townsend Park Court in Murrysville:

• June 25: Acoustic Fingers, Earth Wheel & Fire Wood Fired Pizza and Allusion Brewing

• July 9: Jimbo Jackson, Firehouse Subs and Wye Beer Co.

• July 24: Gabriela Salvucci, Wings Pizza Fries and Sobel’s Obscure Brewery

• Aug. 6: Common Ground Acoustic, Hibachi Lou and Yellow Bridge Brewing

• Aug. 20: Hoffman Road Band, D’s Six Packs and Dogs
