Registration open for Franklin Area midget football

Registration is now open for the Franklin Area Midget Football Association.

Sign-up days are set for 6-8 p.m. on May 8, and 10 a.m. to noon on May 18, at the practice field next to the Murrysville municipal building, 4100 Sardis Road in Murrysville.

Teams are organized into four divisions by age, including a flag-football division for children ages 5 and 6. The cost for the flag division is $35 per player, plus a $50 mandatory fundraising fee per family. The cost for the other three divisions is $125 plus a $100 mandatory fundraising fee. Additional players are $110 per family.

Those interested in becoming FAMFA cheerleaders can mail a 3x5-inch card to FAC/PPG, c/o Marlise Azzolina, 2790 Walker Court, Export, Pa., 15632.

Include your child’s name, address, birthday, phone contacts, parents’ names, email, current year in school and name of school.

There are four cheerleading squads, grouped by grade level. Families will be contacted once openings become available.
