Hampton Township is accepting applications from vendors for the Farmers Market scheduled to begin June 7. The market, which will take place on the Community Park in Hampton Township, will operate weekly on Wednesdays from 3-7 pm. The market is a rain or shine event that continues through Oct. 11.

Interested vendors can obtain an application on the Farmers Market page on the website www.hampton-pa.org or by emailing Bill Ryder at bill.ryder@hampton-pa.org. Entertainers interested in participating at the market may also contact Bill Ryder.

A World Day of Prayer ecumenical service is being conducted March 3 at St. Matthews AME Zion Church at the corner of Thorn and Walnut Street in Sewickley at 1 p.m.

Sealarks Women’s Group will meet March 8 at 1 p.m. at Memorial Park Church, 8800 Peebles Road, McCandless.

This group provides Christian fellowship and social activity for women alone – widowed, divorced or never married. All women alone are welcome to attend and consider joining the group.
