No injuries were reported Monday morning after a fire broke out in a multi-family home in Pittsburgh’s Brighton Heights neighborhood.
Pittsburgh firefighters responded to a two-alarm fire at the home in the 1100 block of Flora Street shortly before 10 a.m., according to Pittsburgh Public Safety spokeswoman Amanda Mueller.
Investigators determined that the fire started outside the right unit of the home, Mueller said. Officials were working to determine the cause.
Residents got out of the building safely. All of the units were occupied.
The American Red Cross of Greater Pennsylvania is assisting the three families who lived in the home, including six adults and a child, according to a Twitter post.
Volunteers provided immediate assistance to 3 families, 6 adults and 1 child, following a mufti-family house fire in the 1100 block of Flora Street in Pittsburgh, Allegheny County.
