La Roche University in McCandless is hosting an outdoor college fair with more than 50 colleges, universities and educational institutions scheduled to participate.

The fair will be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, May 22. The rain-date for the event is at the same time on May 23.

“Most college fairs were canceled this past year, resulting in many high school students feeling behind on their college searches,” said Hope Schiffgens, executive director for enrollment at La Roche. “Those attending the fair will be able to meet with admissions representatives from multiple institutions in a safe, outdoor environment, and the weather forecast looks fantastic.”

The fair will take place in the commuter lot on the La Roche campus located at 9000 Babcock Boulevard.

Students can meet with representatives from each school to explore campuses and learn about academic programs. Complimentary Kona Ice will be available, and pizza and hoagies can be purchased from Large Plain.

Parking will be available in several lots on campus, and the Baierl Athletic Complex will be utilized for overflow parking needs.

Face coverings will be required and all school representatives will have to undergo a temperature screening before they can participate.

Register online to attend.

La Roche is a private, Catholic, co-educational college founded in 1963 by the Sisters of Divine Providence. It offers more than 50 undergraduate majors.
