McCandless council will hold a public hearing in conjunction with its July 22 business meeting to outline the comprehensive plan created to serve as a blueprint that outlines challenges the community faces and ways they can be addressed.

The hearing begins at 7:30 p.m.

The Implementable Comprehensive Plan, which has been in the works for the past year and a half, was developed by a steering committee made up of residents and elected officials that received technical assistance from the town’s consultant, Pashek+Associates.

Town council could vote on whether to approve the plan at its Aug. 26 meeting.

More information about the plan is available online.
