North Hills School District celebrated Homecoming 2025 with a close game against Shaler on Oct. 10 and a dance the following evening.
Friday night’s game was a pink out, with proceeds benefiting 412Thrive, a local nonprofit that helps people impacted by breast cancer and genetic mutations that lead to cancer.
Though the Indians fell to the Shaler Area Titans, 17-14, the night was still one to remember.
Before the game, last year’s homecoming queen, Maddy Morris, crowned the new king and queen — Ethan Guszczynski (boys basketball) and Morgan Duty (Norhian/yearbook) — as well as first runners-up Joey Lutz (football) and Niamh Greer (senior class) and second runners-up Ella Crowley (girls cross country) and Simon Holderny (band).
The crownings were followed by the traditional convertible parade across Martorelli Stadium.
The weekend’s excitement ended Saturday night with a homecoming dance themed “A Night in the Lights” in both gyms of North Hills Middle School.
