Single lane alternating traffic is in effect along a stretch of Rochester Road that runs through Ross, McCandless and Franklin Park for draining and paving work, PennDOT announced.

The project, which also includes line painting, guide rails and shoulder work, is expected to run through June 30.

The lane restrictions will occur between Route 19 in Ross and Nicholson Road in Franklin Park.

Alternating lane traffic will be in effect Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m.

Work also will be done on Saturdays and Sundays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 6 a.m.

Flaggers will assist motorists through the work zone.
