Norwin Chamber to hold Oktober fest; church plans flu clinic

Norwin Chamber ‘Okt-Chamber-Fest’

The Norwin Chamber will host an “Okt-Chamber-Fest” celebration from 5-8 p.m. Sept. 29 at Quinn Brewing in North Huntingdon.

The cost is $25 and proceeds will benefit the chamber’s scholarship fund. The event will feature music, light food, raffle prizes and a stein-holding contest.

New Hope church to hold flu clinic

The New Hope Presbyterian Church on Lincoln Way, North Huntingdon, will host a free flu clinic from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Oct. 2, which is following the worship service.

A representative from Rite Aid will be at the church to administer the flu vaccine.

Those who want to get the shot should bring their insurance card. This event is open to the community.
