A Pittsburgh man was killed and three others injured Saturday night in Pittsburgh in a two-vehicle collision along Mifflin Road, Pittsburgh police said.

Keith Walker, 55,was traveling southbound on Mifflin Road and crossed the center line near the intersection with Lebanon Road, colliding with a northbound sport utility vehicle shortly before 6:30 p.m., police said. Walker, who was alone in the car, died of blunt force injuries to the neck and torso, the Allegheny County Medical Examiner said.

The man driving the SUV sustained leg injuries and was transported to an area hospital in critical condition. He later was updated to stable condition. His two passengers, a man and woman, were transported to an area hospital, where they were reported in stable condition.

Police said that speed does not appear to have played a role in the collision.

Pittsburgh EMS, fire, and police responded to the crash.
