The iconic Oscar Mayer Wienermobile made a stop at the BJ’s Wholesale Club in Ross Township on Wednesday.

The vehicle, which is famously shaped like a giant hot dog on a bun, drew a large crowd of people who wanted to get a peek inside the vehicle and get a photo or two.

The event was hosted by the Wienermobile drivers, Mary Clare “Chili Cheese MC” Kammer and Chloe “Chlo-wienie” Van Caeseele.

“We’re having buns of fun,” Kammer said. “People are super excited and so are we.”

At the event guests were given coupons and a Wienermobile-branded “Wienie whistle.”

Lauren Simmons and her son, Parker, brought the rest of their family from Franklin Park to show their love of hot dogs and get a picture with the Wienermoile. Parker enjoyed the whistle and was excited about to see the giant “doghot.”

“It was a great time to come and see, and now [Parker] wants to go have a ‘doghot’ for lunch,” Simmons said.
