The Allegheny County Medical Examiner’s Office on Saturday identified a pedestrian struck and killed by a car Nov. 9 in North Braddock.

Harry King, 75, of Braddock, was killed when a motorist driving north on Braddock Avenue went off the roadway around 8:15 a.m. and struck him, police and the medical examiner said. The incident occurred near Braddock Avenue’s intersection with O’Connell Boulevard.

King died shortly before 9 a.m. that day at an area hospital, authorities said. No cause or manner of death has been determined.

The motorist, who remained at the scene after the crash, was not charged after the incident, county police spokesman Jim Madalinsky said on Nov. 9.

Allegheny County Police, who are investigating the death, were not immediately available Saturday afternoon to discuss the status of their investigation.

Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call 1-833-255-8477. Callers can remain anonymous.
