PALS making Valentine’s Day cards

Plum Area Ladies Society (PALS) will hold its monthly meeting at 6:30 p.m. Feb. 2 at Plum Community Center, 499 Center New Texas Road in Plum.

The service project for the month will be to construct valentines for residents of Ridgewood-Concordia Assisted Living Residence. Members are asked to bring card stock or construction paper, used cards, stickers, ribbons, buttons, doilies, scissors, markers and glue sticks to make the valentines. The second part of the service project will be to host an ice cream social for the Ridgewood residents, and present them with the valentines Feb. 12. This has always been a fun event, enjoyed by the residents as well as PALS members. As always, at the meeting, PALS will be collecting paper products and money for Plum Food Pantry.

For the Ladies Day Out, Chairwomen Mary Ann and Meryle have arranged for a Tea at Flowers in the Attic Feb. 19. Further details will be given at the meeting.
