Landslide causing traffic delays in Penn Hills

A landslide has led to a partial road closure in Penn Hills on Frankstown Road, said a PennDOT spokesman Thursday.
The road, also known as state Route 380, has been restricted to alternating, single-lane traffic between Beulah Road and Erhardt Drive as road crews address the landslide, said Steve Cowan, PennDOT spokesman.
Cowan was not immediately available to comment on other damages the landslide may have caused.
Flooding has been reported in multiple areas across the county as rain pelted the region Thursday. Areas covered by flash flood warnings include Pittsburgh, Millvale, Penn Hills, Mt. Lebanon, Bethel Park, Ross, McCandless, Monroeville, McKeesport, Franklin Park, Shaler, Plum, West Mifflin and parts of Westmoreland County, according to the National Weather Service.
