Police responded to a shots fired call Wednesday at an apartment complex in Penn Hills, TribLive news partner WTAE reported.

The six to eight shots fired at Park Manor Place did not cause any injuries, WTAE reported.

Linton Middle School and Penn Hills High School went into brief lockdowns as a precaution, according to Penn Hills police Chief Ronald Como.

Como said the incident is under investigation.
