A Penn Hills man was arrested for his alleged involvement in a September shooting in Homewood that left four people injured, Pittsburgh police said.
Naythaniel Landry-Webb, 18, was wanted on a warrant for the Sept. 4 shooting, Pittsburgh Public Safety spokeswoman Cara Cruz said. He was arrested Wednesday in the 1100 block of Banksville Road in Beechview.
Pittsburgh police around 3:20 p.m. Sept. 4 responded to ShotSpotter alerts for multiple shots fired in the 7300 block of Hamilton Avenue and the 500 block of Panke Avenue in Homewood South.
Responding officers located three victims — two men and one woman — on Hamilton Avenue with gunshot wounds to their legs. A man also sustained a graze wound to his side.
The three victims were taken to the hospital in stable condition. According to Cruz, the fourth victim was grazed and did not require medical treatment.
Landry-Webb is charged with aggravated assault, criminal conspiracy, carrying a firearm without a license, persons not to possess a firearm and recklessly endangering another person. In addition, Landry-Webb was arrested on new charges Wednesday for carrying a firearm without a license, persons not to possess a firearm and tampering with physical evidence.
According to court documents, Landry-Webb was denied bail “because defendant is a danger to the community.” He is being held in the Allegheny County Jail in Pittsburgh.
A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Sept. 28 in front of District Judge Kim Berkeley Clark.
