Medical Examiner identifies victim in Homewood shooting

One man was killed and three others were hurt after a shooting and ensuing motorcycle crash early Sunday morning in Pittsburgh’s Homewood neighborhood, according to the city Department of Public Safety.

The Allegheny County Medical Examiner identified the dead shooting victim as Sean A. Reese, 34, of Pittsburgh.

Police just after midnight responded to reports of a shooting on the 7200 block of Kelly Street to find a large group of people fleeing on foot and by vehicle. There were multiple crashes during the chaos, according to police.

There were three shooting victims and one person hurt in the motorcycle crash.

Reese was pronounced dead shortly after arriving at a local hospital. The second shooting victim is in stable condition, the third in critical condition, according to police.

The motorcyclist was taken to the hospital in serious condition.
